An Emerald and Diamond Brooch, by Schlumberger, circa 1961

Designed as an articulated open or closed flower, with a central sugarloaf emerald approximately 4.55 carats,  set with square-cut emerald and circular-cut diamond detail, emeralds approximately 1.9 carats and diamonds approximately 2 carats, mounted in 18K gold, with French Hallmarks and maker's marks. Signed Schlumberger. Diameter approximately 5.6 cm.
With certificate from the American Gemological Laboratories # CS 1078043 stating that the emerald is of Colombian origin and insignificant oil enhancement. Provenance: Mme Anne Dubonnet.
