Japanese silver jewelry box, ca 1910. Straight sides and loose-mounted trefoil handle with studded mounts. Sides and top have engraved chrysanthemums, bamboo, and blossoming prunus branches. Front has 2 hinged doors with ornamental strap hinges and scrolled and hinged finial. Interior has 3 black lacquered graduated drawers with silver studded pulls and green velvet lining. Also lacquered black are door interiors and box underside. For special keepsakes. Appears to be unmarked. Very good condition with a few minor pings.
